Hearing Tests

Proficient hearing is critical to speech, language and literacy development.  While your child may appear to hear well, the quality of the sound being received and processed may not be optimal.  Recurrent middle ear infections can distort the auditory signal, causing inconsistent phonological representations.  This may lead to speech delay or disorder and/or auditory processing and literacy difficulties.
