Senior Speech Pathologist Wanted

We are looking for an experienced speech pathologist to join our team and build on the knowledge-base of our clinic.  

 

About us

We are a friendly, inclusive team of speech pathologists, who are looking for someone new to welcome into our clinic. We enjoy problem-solving together, sharing our challenges and expertise, and developing our skills.  Our practice services children of all ages, both those with and without disabilities.  

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Delivering assessment and speech therapy services to children. 

• Liaising with families and other professionals involved in your client's care.

• Supervision of less experienced speech pathologists. 

• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge base, by accessing the many PD opportunities available.

 

About You

• You have strong clinical skills across all areas of paediatric speech pathology.

• You have documented training in evidence-based therapy approaches.

• You are interested in sharing your knowledge with other speech pathologists, families and community members, and enjoy working with others.

• You believe that learning is life-long and will undertake to continue your own professional development and implement new strategies to keep up with research.

• You are empathetic and will work with our families within a non-judgmental and supportive framework.

• You believe in applying neurodiversity-affirming principles 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology or higher

• Blue Card for Working with Children

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist Status with Speech Pathology Australia

• NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain

• Eligibility to Obtain a Medicare Provider Number

• Right to Work in Australia

Room Hire! 

​

We welcome all healthcare workers to enquire about our room hire. Available immediately, located in Redlynch.  Your room is set up with an adjustable height table, cupboard, whiteboard, rug, comfortable chair, student/visitor chairs and basic stationary items.  

​

You will also have access to the kitchen and waiting room, including a coffee machine, fridge and microwave.  

​

There are client and staff toilets located across the hallway from our practice and wheelchair/pram/lift access in the building.
